    Collegezaal

    Hybrid meetings, receptions, workshops, presentations and, of course, lectures… the multi-purpose Lecture Room is one of the most versatile and in-demand meeting spaces in Utrecht Library. Daylight shines through the windows upon the bright interior, and the glass wall allows for an inspiring glimpse of our library. The Lecture Room can be set up in a variety of ways, depending on your event and wishes. Where would you like the 75-inch portable monitor to be placed? Would you prefer bar stools, tables and chairs or a mobile bar? The choice is yours.

    In our Theatre, the spotlight’s on you. The full theatrical technical installation and majestic, modern atmosphere will take care of that. From the stands, your audience will be captivated by your performance, concert, product presentation, conference or plenary session on the ballet floor. Do you need a recording or livestream of your event? That too is possible. The Theatre, with its sweeping view of Utrecht, is located right above our Noda restaurant. That makes this space ideal for receiving guests downstairs, or providing them with snacks and drinks after your event – perhaps followed by spreading them across other rooms.     The Gallery is a public area in our library that bathes in natural light. The space is flexible: a mobile sound system and/or screen, a comfortable seating area, additional lighting and our grand piano can decorate the floor just the way you like. At the top of the gallery, you enjoy a view of Neude Square and our book collection. This way you can feel close to your audience and close to Utrecht! When you choose the Gallery, you not only attract the attention of your own guests, but also those of Utrecht Library.     Grote Hal

    The Great Hall is the epitome of the city’s history. You can feel it as soon as you enter our library. The beautiful stained glass roof, the colour-adjustable lighting up in the dome, the imposing statues hanging from the wall… There is so much to discover. This central lobby in the library has everything to make large events unfogettable, such as exhibitions, festivals and receptions. The Dutch Film Festival and other major cultural events preceded you in our public library hall. The signing, reading tables, seats and other furniture are movable. Would you prefer a private meeting? That too is possible, after opening hours. The Great Hall is available upon request and under certain conditions.

    Foodbar & deli Noda is our central reception area for all events on the second floor where most of the rooms are located. This is where all your guests are received for registration, breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. When using the Theaterzaal, Noda automatically functions as a foyer, complete with (unguarded) cloakroom. Do you want to use Noda exclusively for your event? This is only possible on special request. The employees of Meneer Potter live and work in the city and are therefore real ‘Utrechters’. They know the city like the back of their hand and know what there is to do.
