Fort de Batterijen is part of the New Dutch Waterline and was built as an outpost for Fort Jutphaas. After being closed off for 100 years, the fort’s grounds opened to the public at the end of 2016. Nestled in the green heart of Utrecht, Fort de Batterijen offers a unique event venue on a historic site. Built in 1871-1873, the monumental fort has evolved over the years from a neglected fortification into a uniquely atmospheric event venue. In the stylish spaces of Fort de Batterijen, you can speak, listen, present, brainstorm, play, and create, but also enjoy, relax, or simply socialize. The combination of the rugged surroundings and the characteristic buildings creates an inspiring setting where your company, team, or colleagues can fully recharge with creative energy!
