Utrecht’s most charming church has been shining for almost 1000 years at the eponymous courtyard, on the Catharijnesingel. Since 2015, the church has been used for a variety of events, from conferences to fashion shows, from product presentations to lectures.
The Geertekerk is known for its fantastic acoustics and has been a favourite venue for concerts for many years.
Because the layout of the church hall can be fully adapted to the type of event that is organised there, the Geertekerk is the location for special events, for groups of up to 500 participants. After a thorough renovation in 2015, the church has two spacious foyers, perfect light and sound technology and a professional kitchen, optimally equipped for serving large groups.
In addition to the church hall, the Geertekerk has four smaller rooms that can be used as breakout rooms for sub-sessions at conferences or as reception areas for speakers or musicians.
