Hotel & Conference Centre Landgoed Zonheuvel is located in Doorn, in the beautiful Utrechtse Heuvelrug region. Our venue boasts 30 meeting rooms spread across four unique buildings: the historic Maarten Maartenshuis, the classic Koetshuis (Coach House), the modern Pavilion Building, and two green Lodges. One of these rooms is the largest conference hall in the region, accommodating 500 people. Our estate also boasts a unique open-air theatre, two restaurants, 110 hotel rooms, and as SDG House, we strive for sustainability in everything we do.

Four unique buildings
Zonheuvel’s Estate boasts 30 meeting rooms spread across four unique buildings: the historic Maarten Maartenshuis, the modern Pavilion, the classic Coach House, and the naturally situated Lodges. Each building has its own unique style, amenities, and views of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. Our estate also boasts a historic open-air theater. The theater can accommodate up to 200 people and can be fully customized to your needs.
Conference hall
Unique in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug region is the conference hall, with a total area of 504m², which can be divided into three separate rooms. With a capacity of up to 500 people, Landgoed Zonheuvel boasts one of the largest rooms in the area.
Hotel
Zonheuvel Estate is an excellent starting point for day trips, attractions, hikes, and bike rides in Doorn, the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, Utrecht, Zeist, Wijk bij Duurstede, and Amersfoort. The hotel offers 110 modern rooms. All rooms have views of the surrounding natural beauty and are equipped with a shower, toilet, safe, TV, telephone, and free internet.
Restaurant
Our restaurant in the Pavilion building offers a wide range of options for breakfast, lunch, drinks, and dinner. It’s also worth noting that we use local and seasonal ingredients. Interested in something exclusive? Choose an exclusive dinner for 12 to 60 people in one of the stylish rooms of the Maarten Maartenshuis.
Terrace
Adjacent to the restaurant is a lovely terrace overlooking the pond, the surrounding woods, and the Maarten Maartenshuis. It’s the ideal location for a delicious dinner, barbecue, or a cozy drink. You’re also welcome to enjoy a cup of coffee and apple pie during a walk or bike ride.
Sustainability
At SDG House, we strive for sustainability in everything we do. Our hotel rooms are climate-neutral, we use rainwater to flush the toilets, and we use a climate control system instead of air conditioning. Our kitchen also uses organic ingredients as much as possible. We have our own vegetable and herb garden and work closely with local suppliers, such as Landgoed Zuylestein in Leersum. Our goal is to work together towards a sustainable future.
Accessibility
There are 300 free parking spaces, including 20 electric charging stations. Zonheuvel Estate is a three-minute drive from the A12 motorway, and our location is also accessible by public transport.
