Situated on the waterfront, easily accessible by car and within walking distance of Utrecht Central Station, lies Molen de Ster. The mill is available for rent every day of the week as a meeting venue, wedding venue, or other celebration.
The authentic and still-working sawmill is situated on a beautiful and tranquil 18th-century industrial estate. The grounds, surrounded by water, also feature three historic miller’s houses set around a large lawn. The centerpiece of the estate is the mill, a living museum! The industrial space exudes craftsmanship and skill. Without sacrificing authenticity, this beautiful location offers all modern amenities.
On Saturdays, Molen de Ster is the millers’ playground. Guided tours are available, and if there’s enough wind, there are sawing demonstrations.
