Conscious Hotel Oudegracht is a sustainable boutique hotel in the former music venue Tivoli on the Oudegracht in Utrecht. The building has over 750 years of history. The hotel has 46 rooms, an organic breakfast and several meeting rooms, and is located approximately 850 metres from the Domtoren.
From monastery to music venue
Over the course of seven centuries, the building on the Oudegracht has been a monastery, an orphanage, and a trade union building. It was later squatted, and since the eighties, it has been the music venue Tivoli, where major international bands performed. The hotel honours this musical history with a combination of design, music, and hospitality.
Rooms from compact to loft
There is a choice of, among others, the Double Room of 15 to 20 m2, the Big Double of 21 to 30 m2, and a family room that can be connected to a second room. For those who want space, there are the Loft Cozy Attic of 46 m2 and the Signature Loft of 55 m2 with a freestanding bath and kitchenette. All rooms have Auping beds, a rain shower, and fast Wi-Fi.
Sustainable and hassle-free
The breakfast is 100% organic. Guests can check in themselves, and the reception is available day and night. Bicycles are available for rent. Payment is by card only. Next to the hotel is Union House, a restaurant and cocktail lounge.
