Mother Goose is a boutique hotel with 23 rooms on the lively Ganzenmarkt, in the middle of the historic city centre of Utrecht. The building was once a city castle and later a squat. Each floor has its own colour theme and some rooms look out over the Domtoren.
A building with a turbulent past
Mother Goose is steeped in history. The building was once a city castle, was later squatted, and is now a hotel. Old and modern elements have been balanced, so you stay in a building with a story.
Four floors, four colours
The hotel has 23 rooms, spread over four floors, each with its own colour theme. Each floor offers rooms in different sizes: small, medium, large and suite. The small rooms of 16 m2 are full of character with old elements. The medium rooms are more spacious, from 19 to 22 m2, and each room has its own identity.
Hospitality with its own style
The team lives and works in Utrecht themselves and is happy to give tips for the city. The hotel does not serve a standard breakfast. Guests have breakfast at a restaurant nearby, which is very extensive according to reviews.
