Centrally located in the Netherlands in the middle of nature lies Paleis Soestdijk. A unique location that takes your guests on a journey to the past, present and future. A place where the interesting past and the sustainable future are closely interwoven.
A place in motion, where everyone is welcome and where people with good ideas come together. In the place where the royal family used to receive celebrities from all over the world, you can now receive your guests for an exclusive and memorable event.
In 1650, the middle part of the current palace was built as a private country residence for the mayor of Amsterdam. In 1815, it came into the hands of the future King Willem II and his Russian wife, Queen Anna Paulowna. During that period, the two side wings were added and it became a real summer palace. The royal family continued to use the palace after that. First as a summer residence and from 1937, Princess Juliana and Prince Bernhard were the permanent residents. After their death in 2004, the palace lost its function as a residential and working palace for the House of Orange.
Since December 2017, the estate and Paleis Soestdijk have been in private hands again. Under the title ‘Made by Holland’, we as the new owner will develop Paleis Soestdijk in the coming years into a platform for innovation and excellent performances of enterprising Netherlands, supplemented with catering and other public and accommodation functions.
The official reception rooms in the palace, the Cinema, Water Tower, Royal Stables, the Orangery and the beautiful garden, offer great possibilities for all types of events. The possibilities are endless here.
