Historical location
In 1897, Queen Emma had her own waiting room built along the railway line, where she could wait for the train in peace. This stylish accommodation served as the NS station for the royal family until 1996. In 2011, the building was thoroughly restored. Today, the monumental station building is suitable for meetings, birthday and wedding parties, dinners, workshops, brainstorming sessions, drinks and other gatherings. Soestdijk station has three different rooms, including De Zolder and De Koninklijke Wachtkamer.
